I enjoy working in a small law firm that allows me to address different and varied tasks from day to day. I like the different responsibilities, from doing research to preparing pleadings and disclosures, to analyzing records Each day can be different. I value the ability to work independently but also in a team with the other paralegals and attorneys here.
I went to college for a marketing degree, but after graduation I worked for a contractor to the Department of Interior. Our focus was assisting oil and gas companies with royalty payments on their existing leases. There I realized the law was much more interesting to me. So I went back to school and got my paralegal certificate and have been working as a paralegal ever since. Most of the skills I’ve learned have been on-the-job training, and I continue to learn from all the folks here at Z&A.
I always enjoy going to Las Vegas. There is always so much to see and do in Vegas, even if you don’t want to gamble. And it’s great for people watching!
