Kristi is an equity partner and Chair of the Marketing Committee at Zupkus & Angell and practices civil and commercial litigation. She has litigated in numerous areas ranging from construction defect to transportation to banking to employment disputes. Kristi developed an astute acumen for written advocacy during her practice, starting with her time spent as a judicial law clerk to the Hon. Stephen N. Limbaugh, Jr. of the Missouri Supreme Court and the Hon. Whitney Rimel of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of California, and translating into well-crafted arguments and favorable outcomes for her clients on both the trial and appellate court levels. Kristi obtained both her law and undergraduate degrees from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. At Washington University School of Law, Kristi served as an editor for the Washington University Law Review, was a member of the Jessup International Moot Court team, winner of the International Hardy C. Dillard Competition for Best Brief on the national and international levels.

Kristi is dedicated to a number of professional organizations and in 2014 rose to the level of speaker at the American Bar Association ICLC Midyear Conference as well as Vice-Chair of the Commercial Transportation Litigation Committee. Kristi was recently invited to join the International Association of Defense Counsel and named a Colorado Rising Star by Super Lawyers.

In her free time, Kristi is an avid world traveler—spending two years in Nagano City, Japan teaching English in a prestigious high school, and she has studied Japanese language and culture since the age of eight. Kristi also enjoys trail running, skiing, wakeboarding, playing soccer, chasing her two little boys, snuggling her baby girl, photographing the beautiful outdoors of Colorado, and watching sappy Hallmark movies.
